What is a Hand History?

A hand history is a play by play of a poker hand in text format. It shows information such as when and where the hand was played, the stakes, the players at the table, what you were dealt, actions during the hand, which community cards came, who won the hand, and how much was won or lost. It’s a complete history of a hand. These text histories are very handy and can be used to review hands later on, but are not very user friendly for discussion and can be hard to follow. This is where we come in.

What is a Hand History Converter?

A hand history converter is a tool that takes the plain, hard to read hand histories, and converts them into a much easier to follow format. You can then take this friendly output and paste it in any of our supported online poker forums to get better feedback.

How do I use the Hand History Converter?

Our tool was designed to be very simple. All you need to do is paste any hand into the Hand History input field and press Convert Hand. It’s that easy! It should be intuitive for most users, but if you need more help, please see our How to Use page.

For best results, paste the entire hand history, even if you only want to review one part of the hand.

Can I convert an entire session or batch hand histories?
